Science has proven that everyone has an inborn or innate intelligence that utilizes the nervous system to control and regulate the body’s vital functions as it relates the environment. This inner wisdom works both consciously and subconsciously at keeping you in balance with the proper heart rate, release of hormones, digestion of foods, regulates our breathing cycles and so on. This system is always on and always functioning—24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The most serious Interferences to this system occur when certain short or long-term stress is too much for the body to handle. These stresses can arise from various sources:
- Auto Accidents
- Sports Trauma
- Injuries at Work
- Prenatal stress
- Birth Trauma
Chemical & Nutritional Stresses:
- What we EAT
- What we DRINK
- What we BREATHE
- Relationships at HOME
- Relationships at WORK
- Feelings from PAST relationships or experiences
Allergies & Sensitivities:
- Often, these turn into serious diseases if not addressed at an early stage
Toxins in the Environment:
- Heavy metals
- Cell Phones
Any of these stresses will cause nerve interferences that result in malfunction to every system in the body. Research has shown that if these interferences persist for more than 10 days, imbalances develop in the body, scar tissue forms and cells cease to function properly.
Why Do We Focus on The Spine?
The spine serves not only to offer optimal biomechanics, but also to serve as a protective housing for the nerves that travel between the brain and tissues of the body. It is here that most, if not all interferences exist. Thus, proper structure is vitally important to have proper function. Just ask any anatomy professor. Furthermore, a medical doctor found in the 1920’s that organ malfunction and disease was a direct result of spinal decay and chronic nerve irritation. A degenerated and/or poorly balance structure is the primary condition that usually results in secondary conditions or symptoms manifested by the body. A secondary condition cannot be relieved without first addressing the primary condition.
What separates us from all the other Chiropractors in the most saturated area for chiropractic care in the country?
First, let’s look at a traditional approach to chiropractic care:
- Decreases muscular spasm
- Increases range of motion
- Reduces pain
This is what most chiropractors offer in the way of care, and I have no doubt that they all do a great job at accomplishing those goals.
What we do is significantly different. Here’s why.
It’s extremely important to first determine if and to what extent each of the stresses mentioned above are affecting your life. Second, we help you determine where your health is currently at using several objective criteria, and also where it should be. Third, we create a plan of care that is not only designed to achieve the greatest results in the shortest amount of time, but one that is corrective in nature. This corrective care is not for everyone, as these individuals would rather have a band-aid; but that’s not what we do because it doesn’t fix the problem. For those who actually want to fix the problem, tremendous results are just a phone call away.
Questions, Myths, or Concerns:
- Is it safe to be adjusted?
Consider these facts:
My malpractice insurance premium is cheaper than most auto insurance policies. Therefore, it is safer to be adjusted than it is to be out driving on the road? How many people still drive cars? Approximately 900,000 people died last year from over-the-counter medications, prescription drugs and faulty medical interventions. Are people still using these drugs? Many low-force techniques are also available to achieve corrective care goals.
Do you need to come for the rest of your life? NO.
Is it expensive? NO.
Most of us pay more to purchase and maintain our cars than our health. You won’t have to tap your retirement account, refinance the house or pull out a loan to invest in your health. It’s your health, your choice. You can pay for it now, or pay for it later. My grandfather always says that all the money in the world doesn’t matter if you’re not around to enjoy it!
Is it covered by my insurance? Many plans will cover chiropractic care, so it depends on how your plan is structured.
I don’t have the time. We know that your time is just as valuable as ours, so make each visit very efficient. Our staff is excellent with kids and infants if you need to bring them with you. Also, when you start to witness results, it becomes easier to make time for care.
